平凡,不是要您放弃拥有一切世俗的物质,只是要你放下你所不能承担的欲望。
当你撇下了心里的虚荣,你就是平凡。
My wife found this video while surfing around and watching videos on YouTube. This was her new found hobby of searching baby related videos ever since she got pregnant.
She showed me this video last night, telling a story of a woman delivering her child prematurely so that the child’s dying father could have a moment with the new born before he passed away.
This is thought provoking.
A little too soon for the father to leave this world. He would not have the chance to accompany this child as he or she grows up.
A little too late for the baby to arrive. The child would not have a loving father side by side in the growing up process.
Just in time for the father to hold his child before he leaves.
When’s the right time? Too soon? Too late? Or just in time?

From time to time we watch some videos, gets terribly upset. For a few days we get very conscious of how we live our life, then we forget about it after that and we are back to square one. So once in a while, we need a wake up call. While we are here taking things for granted, there are some less privileged people out there. In this video, we see children of Uganda, abandoned, starved and left to die if help doesn’t come to them. My heart aches terribly looking at the starving children.
While there’s probably little we can do, this should still serve as a reminder of how fortunate we are. Do share this with your friends.

This is a video that my friend shared with me via email. I thought I should share this in my blog for a wider reach.
I think it’s remarkable for a person like Nick Vujicic to be so positive. If this guy can live life happily, I don’t see why we can’t do it as well. I’m not saying that we are all having a fantastic time. We can still grumble and bitch about life, cry or get depressed when we run into problems in life. But the key thing is, remember to pick yourself up after that.
Life can’t get any worse for us. :)
I think this video is beautiful and I gotta share this with everyone first thing in the morning.
This is the introduction of the video.
“Funeral” is a new TV commerical launched by the Ministry of Community Development, Youth and Sports (MCYS) which looks at relationships in a different light, through a woman at her husband’s funeral. Ultimately, the TVC celebrates the beautiful imperfections that make a relationship perfect. This is fresh off MCYS latest Viewers’ Choice 2008 win for last year’s Family TVC which promotes the importance and value of family bonding.
Personally, the video struck me very hard deep inside. This is a reminder, to treasure the people around you. Look at the greater virtues they have rather than to pick on the smaller shortcomings. Once in a while, imagine a life without the people you love when you wake up the next morning. Think of what you have lost and what you will miss most about the person and keep the feeling vivid in your heart. Revisit this feeling whenever you have grouses or arguments.
Enjoy the video, give it some thought and share with the people you love and care for.
